This was the first paintball gun with a specially modified reduced paintball velocity so that the impact wouldn't harm humans. Over the years, paintball guns have evolved, and are much lighter and smaller than the original models.
Many organized paintball "wars" aren't for the amateur hobby player. Many enthusiasts take their sport very seriously, and aren't receptive to having newer, inexperienced players on their team. For this reason, look around to find players at your own skill level as you learn.
